Observance of International Lead Pollution Prevention Week in Tangail

International Lead Pollution Prevention Week was observed in Tangail with the slogan 'If lead pollution is stopped, children's intelligence will increase'. On this occasion, a colorful procession was taken out in front of the District Civil Surgeon office on Tuesday morning. The procession went around various roads and ended at the District Art Academy.
Later there was a competition and discussion meeting.

Tangail General Hospital Supervisor Khandaker Sadiqur Rahman, District Family Planning Office Deputy Director Abdul Latif Mollah, Deputy Civil Surgeon Muhammad Azizul Haque, District Education Officer Rebecca Sultana, Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Shariful Islam and others were present in the presided over ceremony.
Ghatail Cantonment Public School and College was the champion and Bindubasini Government Girls High School was the runner-up in the competitive competition.
Officers of various departments, students and other officials of the Civil Surgeon's Office were present at this time.
