Dengue has increased in Thakurgaon, 9 patients in the hospital in a week

The number of dengue patients is suddenly increasing in Thakurgaon. In the last 24 hours, two patients have been admitted to Thakurgaon 250-bed general hospital. Besides, nine patients have been admitted in Thakurgaon 250-bed hospital in the last seven days.
On Tuesday (September 10) morning, Thakurgaon 250-bed General Hospital informed this information.
Earlier, the number of dengue patients admitted to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital suddenly increased from July onwards. And a total of nine dengue patients were admitted to the hospital in 7 days from the beginning of September.
Most of the admitted patients came from Dhaka and are being treated at Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital. Besides, according to the information of Sadar Hospital, two patients have been infected with dengue locally in Thakurgaon district. They never traveled to Dhaka or any other district.
Muhammad Ali, who came from Dhaka and got treatment, said, I went to Dhaka for business. After 1 long month when I returned home I started feeling fever. After seeing the doctor, I was diagnosed with dengue. Currently I am undergoing treatment here.
Shukant Barman belonging to Ruhia police station said, I study in Jahangirnagar University. I got infected from there and am currently receiving treatment at Thakurgaon Hospital.
Thakurgaon 250 bed general hospital junior consultant Dr. Jahin Mithu said that since the end of July, the number of dengue patients admitted in Thakurgaon has been increasing. Its levels increase further in September. In the last few days, nine dengue patients have been admitted here. Also, two people from Thakurgaon were infected and received treatment here. We all have to be a little careful in this regard. Keeping clean around the house and hanging mosquito nets while sleeping during the day or night. Besides, if you are sick, you should be admitted to the hospital with the doctor's advice.
