Two days after the disappearance, the body of the auto driver was found with his hands and feet tied

Two days after he went missing in Raiganj of Sirajganj, the police recovered the body of an autovan driver named Munzil Sheikh (50). The body was recovered from a brick kiln in Raghunathpur village of Ghurka union of Salanga police station on Saturday (September 7) morning.

Deceased Munzil Sheikh is the son of deceased Achab Ali of Raghunathpur village.

Eyewitnesses said that autovan driver Munjil was missing for two days. On Saturday morning, local people reported to the police after seeing a dead body tied with hands and feet on the brickwork of Desh Itbatta on the road from Bhuiyaganti to Salanga in Raghunathpur village. The police reached the spot and recovered the body and took it to the police station.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Solanga Police Station KM Rabiul Islam said that a dead body was found lying in a brick kiln in Raghunathpur village of Ghurka Union in the morning on Saturday. The body has been sent to the hospital morgue for post-mortem.
