As there is not less than 100 meters of road from the main road to the school, one has to pass through the farm lanes to reach the school. To the young students of Shimlabari Government Primary School, Nagatashimla Union, Gopalpur Upazila, Tangail. The school was established in 1988.

Having irrigation drains in field aisles during the Boro season and flooding the aisles during the monsoon season. Children students complained that they had to face many problems including slipping their feet, reaching school with wet clothes, books falling into water. Locals complain that they have to suffer the same as there are many settlements near the school. They demanded the construction of this road as soon as possible.

Abdus Chamad, elder of the farm Shimla, said that due to the lack of a little road, the children have to suffer endlessly. It is our demand that the administration will build the road quickly with initiatives.

Aksher Ali, president of the PTA committee of the school, admitted that he had failed many times before with the initiative to build this road. The road could not be built mainly because of the obstacles created by the land owners.

Naseema Akhter, acting head teacher of the school, said that students face many problems to reach the main road. The attendance of students in my school is satisfactory, if the road is constructed soon, the number of students will increase. Construction of another school building and wash block is necessary. The lands belong to our relatives. I will discuss with them.

Upazila Primary Education Officer. Mofizur Rahman said, we also have problems going to that school because there is no road. For the convenience of the students, I will inform Mr. UNO as the Administrative Head.
