The fire service workers said that they were able to put out the fire completely on Tuesday (August 27) at around 5 o'clock in the morning.

Assistant Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense, Anwarul Haque said that the rescue operation could not be started so far due to the fragile condition of the building.

He said, after long efforts, it has been possible to bring down the flames. The fire service official said that a search was conducted on the roof of the building with the help of turn table ladder (TTL), and no one was found injured in any part of the roof.
