Although the water has started receding from the flooded areas, the suffering of the people has not decreased. Many people are still trapped in the affected area. Many have been sheltered in shelters and open air on high ground. Various government, private and voluntary organizations, actors and actresses, YouTubers, influencers and music artists have extended their hands of cooperation in such a disaster of the country. Ziaul Haque Palash of 'Bachelor Point' serial drama bachelor 'Kabila' is also in this list.
Palash always tries to be by people's happiness and sorrow. He has a foundation called 'Postbox'. Whenever needed he helps through volunteers across the country. This foundation is working very quietly. 27 volunteers of Palash mailbox are working in flood affected areas.
On Sunday (August 25), Palash told a press that everyone is giving dry food as relief. I'm on the side thinking a little differently. We cook cleanly at one place and take that food to the shelter for the flood victims. I have cooked and fed around a thousand people myself. The next three days will continue like this. Earlier my volunteers were in Feni, they are working in Noakhali from Sunday.
Regarding post-flood work, he said, it is important to be aware of post-flood rehabilitation. Disease spreads more after the flood waters recede. Women and children are at risk of health. I am thinking about that too. Me and my team will be active even after the flood.
The actor also said that not many people know about his 'Duckbox Foundation'. So he himself finances 80 percent of the activities. However, Palash also said that if someone you know voluntarily gives a donation, it is accepted.
