Thousands of people trapped in water in Baghaichari, 44 affected by flood

Many houses have been submerged in the lower areas of Baghaichhari upazila, bordering Rangamati, due to landslides coming down from upstream. Many have taken refuge in shelters. The administration and local political parties are working to deal with the situation.
