Pakistan announced the team for the series against Bangladesh 'A' team The 'A' team series between the two countries will be preceded by the Test series between Bangladesh and Pakistan. For the preparation of this series some of the national team of Bangladesh have been kept in the 'A' team. Meanwhile, eight cricketers from the original team will also play for Pakistan Shaheens.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the 14-member squad on Wednesday. Saud Shakeel will lead Pakistan's budding cricketers. After that, he got the responsibility of vice-captain for the Bangladesh series.
Nasim Shah will return to the Bangladesh series after a long time. Before that, this right-handed pacer will play for Shaheens. He is going to return to Test cricket after 13 months.
Sarfraz Ahmed is in the Pakistan team against Bangladesh. This former captain will also play for Shaheens. Sayem Ayyub from the original team will also play against Bangladesh.
Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Ali and Mohammad Huraira have been called up to the national team due to their excellent performances in domestic cricket. They will also play in the first four-day match in Islamabad. Mir Hamza in Pakistan's 17-member squad will also play in that match.
Meanwhile, the first four-day match was scheduled to be played from August 10. But the 'A' team cricketers could not go to Pakistan due to unstable situation in Bangladesh. Due to this, the schedule has changed.
