Wife Jannatul seeks prayers for ailing Mahmudullah

Experienced Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah Riyad has been admitted to the hospital with fever. His wife Jannatul Kausar has sought prayers from everyone for his speedy recovery.
On Thursday (October 30), Jannatul posted a picture of Mahmudullah sleeping in a hospital bed on social media Facebook. In the caption of the picture, she wrote, “When Allah loves someone, He tests them with calamities. Alhamdulillah for everything. Allah is very merciful… Please keep him (Mahmudullah) in your prayers.”
According to sources close to the family, the experienced cricketer had been suffering from fever for a few days. Later, when he underwent a test on the advice of a doctor, he was diagnosed with dengue.
Dr. Debashish Chowdhury, the chief physician of the BCB’s medical department, said, “Mahmudullah was admitted to the hospital with fever three-four days ago. However, his physical condition is currently improving.”
The 39-year-old Mahmudullah has been playing an important role in Bangladesh cricket for a long time. His experience on the field and cool-headed decision-making have always made him a reliable player for the team. Fans and supporters are praying for his speedy recovery and return to the field.
