Although the end of last year was not very comfortable, the start of this year has been good for the American club Inter Miami. The team's winning streak in the pre-season continued. This time, Messi defeated Olimpia by a large margin. This is Miami's fourth consecutive victory in a friendly match. The team's two big stars, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, have scored goals in such a winning match.
Miami won a big 5-0 win against Honduran club Olimpia at the Eucles National Stadium on Saturday. Messi and Suarez both scored one goal each. Messi assisted two more.
Before the start of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, they will play one more match against Orlando City. The Orlando match will be held on February 15. The first goal came from Messi in the 27th minute of the match. However, Suarez assisted this goal.
Then in the 44th minute, Federico Redondo and Noah Allen scored in first-half stoppage time. The team went into the break with a 3-0 lead. Luis Suarez increased that lead early in the second half. The team took the lead again with his goal in the 54th minute.
Ryan Sailor put the final nail in the coffin. Miami took a 5-0 lead with his goal in the 79th minute of the match. The team could not reduce the gap even after trying. Javier Mascherano's disciples left the field with a big victory.
Miami ended their preparation period outside the United States with this match. They will play a few more matches before their first match in Major League Soccer on February 22. Although they could not win the Major League title last time, the team is reluctant to make the same mistake this time.
