Soumya stopped for 169 runs, a big collection for Bangladesh!

Left-handed batsman Soumya Sarkar has become the 13th player to play his 100th match in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 cricket. Rangpur Riders and Durbar Rajshahi faced each other in the 34th match of the BPL. In that match, Soumya Sarkar played his 100th match on the BPL stage.
Soumya was out of the field due to a finger injury during the West Indies tour last December and could not play from the start of the BPL. However, he took the field in Rangpur's 10th match. Until his 100th match, Soumya had scored 1,536 runs with the bat and taken 25 wickets in the BPL.
Before Soumya, Mushfiqur Rahim, Enamul Haque Bijoy, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mohammad Mithun, Imrul Kayes, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Liton Das, Sabbir Rahman and Arafat Sunny have achieved the feat of playing their 100th match in the BPL.
The record for playing the most matches in the BPL is held by Mushfiqur Rahim, who has played 135 matches.
