With a solid foundation on the scoreboard, hosts India went into bat on the third day of the Chennai Test. Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant continue to bat to make that foundation a solid target. In the meantime, Gill has picked up a fifty for zero runs in the first innings. Pant is giving him great company.
Pant-Gill duo for India increased the lead in the fourth wicket. The hosts have already crossed the lead of 350 runs.
Earlier, Bangladesh could not get through the rest of the day after restricting India to 376 runs on the second day. All out for 149 runs.
