BCB announced the Test team against India

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the 16-member squad for the two-match Test series against India. A change has been made from the team from the last series.
The Tigers performed well in the recently concluded Pakistan series. So not much has changed from the team from that series. Pacer Shariful Islam is out due to injury. Besides, everyone else has survived in the team.
Zaker Ali has been called into the squad in place of Shariful. This wicketkeeper batsman was called up to the national team for the first time in red ball cricket. However, before that he played ODI and T20 in Bangladesh jersey.
The first Test of the series will be held from September 19 to September 23. This match will be in Chennai. Then the second and final Test of the series at Kanpur from September 27 to October 1. Both matches are part of the ICC Test Championship.
