Natore-2 constituency paddy sheaf candidate and BNP central leader Advocate M Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu said that BNP's victory cannot be prevented this time by any conspiracy or subtle rigging. The people of the country are now fully ready to exercise their voting rights.
He said these things at an election road meeting organized in different wards of Naldanga Municipality in Natore on Monday.
At the road meeting, Dulu said that the people of the country have united to get rid of the long-standing misrule. He alleged that in the last 18 years, the politics of killing, disappearance and looting have been established in the country and the rights of the common people to eat rice and vote have been taken away.
He said that after BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman returned to the country, new life has been instilled in the people. He expressed strong hope that under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, BNP will win the upcoming elections and a prosperous, democratic and modern Bangladesh will be built on the basis of 31 points.
In his speech, the former minister highlighted the past development activities in Natore and Naldanga and said that he has always played a leading role in infrastructure development. If the voters elect him this time with the symbol of a paddy sheaf, the unfinished development works will be completed and the development trend will be further accelerated.
District BNP members Nasim Uddin Nasim, Hafiz Uddin Hafiz, District Technology Affairs Committee Convener Russell Ahmed Rony and Ulama Dal Shafiqul Islam Shafi, along with local workers and organiza- tions leaders and activists, spoke at the roadshow. The speakers gave various directions to the party leaders and activists to guard the centers and ensure the safety of voters in the upcoming elections.
