The government's aim is to ban all parties and survive as a single party. The students wanted to discuss the quota reform but the government showed arrogance by treating the landlords lightly. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that this government is trying to create a reign of terror by intimidating the people of the country.
He said these things in a press conference at Gulshan office of BNP on Tuesday (July 30).
The secretary general said that he has not seen such an incident in politics after strongly condemning and protesting the police attack on the peaceful movement of the students and immediately releasing the arrested students. The entire nation has been made a mockery of students' deaths. Government has no representation. An invisible force is running this country.
