Mymensingh-1 creates history, candidates from all parties at one table!

Candidates from all parties contesting the upcoming election for Mymensingh-1 (Haluaghat-Dhobaura) constituency sat at one table and gave a message of cordial discussion and unity. The meeting, held at Hotel Imex International in Haluaghat Upazila Sadar on Monday (December 15) morning, was organized to avoid election-time tension, maintain a peaceful environment, and ensure a fair and orderly conduct of the election.
The meeting, held at the invitation of BNP nominated candidate Syed Emran Saleh Prince, was attended by BNP nominated candidate Syed Emran Saleh Prince, Jamaat-e-Islami nominated candidate Mahfuzur Rahman Mukta, BSD nominated candidate Abdur Razzak, Islami Andolan nominated candidate Advocate Zillur Rahman, Khelafat Majlis candidate Maulana Rafiqul Islam, and Zaker Party nominated candidate Masud Rana.
All the candidates and political leaders present at the meeting pledged to maintain minimum etiquette by avoiding personal attacks and hatred in the election campaign. In addition, consensus was expressed on preventing the anti-election conspiracy of the fugitive fascist clique and establishing a peaceful and responsible political consciousness among the people.
Syed Emran Saleh Prince said during the meeting, “This is an unprecedented event in the political history of Bangladesh—candidates of all parties sat at one table and discussed for a fair election. This will send a positive message among the people and leaders and activists. It is necessary to follow harmonious politics to build a new Bangladesh by avoiding the trend of negative politics. I think this is an exemplary example, which will continue in the future.”
Present at the meeting were Upazila BNP convener Aslam Mia Babul, Municipal BNP convener Hanif Mohammad Shaker Ullah, Upazila BNP member secretary Abu Hasnat Badrul Kabir, Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Moazzem Hossain Masta, Municipal Jamaat-e-Islami leader Shamsul Alam Panir, Islamic Movement leaders Maulana Motaleb Hossain and Maulana Deen Islam, Khelafat Majlish general secretary Maulana Anwar Hossain, Dhobaura Upazila Khelafat Majlish general secretary Maulana Rukon Uddin, Abdur Rashid Maududi, Baitul Maal secretary Maulana Mazharul Islam.
Meanwhile, NCP nominated candidate Abu Raihan and Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam candidate Maulana Aminul Islam expressed their support for the event via mobile phone.
