BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu clearly stated on Saturday that there was no discussion with BNP on the ‘safe exit’ or safe departure of the advisors of the interim government. He made these comments while paying tribute to BNP founder martyr President Ziaur Rahman at the tomb with leaders and activists of Mymensingh metropolis.

Dudu said, “As long as a democratic government is not formed through general elections, it is important for us to remain united. Because conspirators are still active in the country and abroad.” He also said that unity among political parties is essential in the current situation.

He expressed hope that all political parties in the country will agree on the July Charter regarding the National Consensus Commission and a fair political process will be ensured.

Dudu’s statement is being seen as a topic of discussion in the political arena, where a message of caution has been given on the one hand and unity on the other hand, focusing on the elections.
