Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has seen the draft copy of 'Mujib in Calcutta', a documentary based on the biography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He saw the draft copy of the documentary at Ganabhaban on Sunday (May 26) morning.
This information was informed by the press wing of the Prime Minister.
The city of Calcutta has a great role in the life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. India's national award-winning film director Gautam Ghosh has produced the documentary titled 'Mujib in Calcutta'.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon said that the Prime Minister watched the documentary "Mujib in Calcutta" and gave his opinion and various instructions to those involved in its production.
Bangabandhu's studying at Islamia College in Kolkata, staying in the unemployed hostel, getting involved in the student movement of Calcutta University, spending the night in Alimuddin Street, walking around in the Park Circus, his fire spewing speech at the Brigade Maidan - many more such things are captured by Bangabandhu's beloved city's alleys in the documentary.
