BNP Chairperson's Adviser Amanullah Aman said in a meeting organized by Bangladesh Youth Forum on Monday (October 14) on the occasion of the death anniversary of Saifuddin Ahmed Moni, the founder of the 90s student mass uprising, at Tafazzal Hossain Manik Mia Hall of the National Press Club, that if the interim government fails to restore democracy and establish people's right to vote. Delays may occur. We want to support the government. If democracy falls because of them (the interim government), both the restoration of democracy and the people's right to vote will be hindered.

Amanullah Aman said, acting chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman said that we should fully support this government for a fair election. We hope that after receiving the report of the commission that the government has set up, their next step will be to organize a fair election through an impartial election commission. The 18 crore people of Bangladesh who will vote in the election, will be handed over power peacefully and the country will run peacefully. Besides, the country's problems will be solved. At the same time, the demands of the students and the people of the country must be met. Everyone should work together.

Regarding the trial of journalist couple Sagar-Rooney's murder, he said, "We have not yet received the trial of Sagar-Rooney's murder." Sagar-Rooney murder must be prosecuted immediately. The only reason why Sagar-Rooney murder trial has been delayed so far is because the Awami League government was involved. Then there was a delay in submitting the report. But now this trial should not be delayed.

He also said, we have been protesting for many years. Ziaur Rahman brought democracy once. National leader Khaleda Zia has brought it once again. We got democracy through the last student mass movement. We have to hold on to the way this democracy has been achieved. We must be united. We all have to work together. We have to unite and move the nation forward by paying respect to the martyrs.

Remembering Saifuddin Moni, this BNP leader said, Saifuddin Moni's dream will be fulfilled only when a democratic government is established by guaranteeing people's right to vote. In a united effort we will get democracy back sooner, voting rights back sooner and government by the people sooner. Where the government of this country will be run by the people.

Bangladesh Youth Forum president Mohammad Saidur Rahman presided over the discussion meeting. At this time, Daksu's former GS Nazimuddin Alam, the coordinator of the nationalist alliance, said. Fariduzzaman Farhad and many others.
