This program will be held in front of Dhaka University's Raju Sculpture on Tuesday (August 20) from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Arefin, a student associated with the movement, told Dhaka Post that according to the constitution of the previous government, the current president Mohammad Sahabuddin has lost the legitimacy to hold his position. Since former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled power in a student uprising, her chosen person cannot remain president. We want to oust the current president and head the interim government. Muhammad Yunus should have the supreme power of the state and introduce a presidential system of government.

He also said that since the current government came to power, the Awami League has repeatedly tried unsuccessfully to stage a counter-coup. So Dr. Muhammed Yunus should continue to strive to protect democracy, freedom of speech and sovereignty by framing the new constitution of the state by possessing all the powers of the state. At the same time, he demanded that all elections under the illegal government be declared illegal.
Demanding the cancellation of all agreements with India, he also said that all agreements with neighboring countries against the country's interests should be cancelled. He also commented that the movement will continue until these demands are implemented.

Incidentally, Sheikh Hasina left the country by resigning from the post of Prime Minister in the face of an unprecedented mass uprising by students on August 5. Then on August 8 Nobel laureate Dr. The interim government led by Muhammad Yunus was sworn in. Currently, this 21-member interim government is running the country.
