The policeman who grabbed the student's face was dismissed

Unarmed Police Inspector (Operation) working at Shahbag Police Station of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). Arshad Hossain has been suspended.
Police Commissioner of DMP. He was temporarily suspended by an office order signed by Mainul Hasan.
According to DMP, inspector Arshad Hossain grabbed the face of political science student Nahidul Islam of Dhaka's New Model Degree College during the 'March for Justice' program of the anti-discrimination student movement on July 31. As a result of his unprofessional activities, the image of the police has been tarnished, along with the public's negative perception of the police's activities. As a result of which he was suspended.
DMP also said that there are many other complaints against police inspector Arshad Hossain apart from pressing the face of the protesting students.
