The anti-discrimination student movement is a platform for state reform. Through which we first started the quota movement, later the student society started a movement to shape the state. The student society has also been successful in that. At present the country and the nation are safe under the Interim Government. So I want to come out of this platform and work with everyone as a common student for campus reform.

Noor Nabi, who resigned from the post of Jagannath University coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, told the Dhaka Post on Saturday (August 17).
He said that already some students of Jagannath University have been associated with various activities by posing as coordinators. Some have also started extortion by posing as coordinators. Apart from this, some have become desperate to establish student politics in the campus as a coordinator. So considering all these things I have removed my name from coordinator.

Noor Nabi said that the law and order forces in the country are now engaged in their duties. We did law enforcement in many areas when there was no law enforcement. Complaints are coming to us that while maintaining law and order, some have demanded donations from the locals by pretending to be coordinators. So we students have decided to work together shoulder to shoulder to renovate the Jagannath University campus and transform it into a model campus of the country.

Regarding campus reforms, he said, we have already created a platform called Jabi Sanskar Andolan. Where each department will have one representative from each batch. This platform has been made with one departmental representative from each department. The students of that department will decide who will be the representative in a democratic manner. Work will be done to get all the fair rights of the students through this platform. Since we who were coordinators will be there too, it doesn't make sense to have multiple platforms. Considering these things, I have stepped down from the post of coordinator.

Earlier this morning, he resigned from the post of coordinator in a Facebook post. Noor Nabi wrote in a Facebook post, "From today I have removed myself from the post of coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement." I have been in the field since the beginning of this movement without personal interest. I have been brutally attacked by Chhatra League on the streets, disappeared from the Maidan and subjected to demonic torture, gone to jail. I got your love above all these. I will always be by your side to protect the dignity of that love, Inshallah.
