This time the head of CID was removed

After Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP), Director General of RAB and Commissioner of DMP, the head of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Police Mohammad Ali Mia has been removed. He has been attached to the police department.
On Tuesday (August 13), a notification from the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs informed about his removal.
However, no one has been given the responsibility of CID head yet.

Mohammad Ali Mia took charge of CID in August 2022. He was born in Kotalipara Police Station of Gopalganj District. He joined Bangladesh Police in 1995 as the 15th BCS officer.
As DIG, Mohammad Ali Miah held various important posts including Special Branch (SB) of Police, Additional DIG of Dhaka Range, District Superintendent of Police of Habiganj and Manikganj. Before the CID, he was serving as the head of the tourist police.
