Jabi students will come down to vacate the vacated hall on Tuesday

Jagannath University Treasurer Professor Dr. Under the leadership of Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, the students have taken the initiative to vacate the vacated halls of the university on Tuesday. At the same time, students are supposed to occupy Dhupkhola field as before.
On Monday (August 12), Jagannath University anti-discrimination student movement chief coordinator Noor Nabi said these things.
He said that he will remain in his position as treasurer. The hall movement will start tomorrow at 10 am under his leadership.
He called upon all the teachers, students and officials of the university for this movement.
Noor Nabi said, we hope the students will accept the 13-point treasurer. He has already heard our 13 points. He also promised to accept.
Before this, leaders of anti-discrimination movement of Jagannath University organized an exchange meeting with the students on Sunday. The anti-discrimination student movement raised 13-point demands based on the opinions of the students. The 13 point demands are-
1. The entire proctorial body including the university VC, proctor, provost and head of student welfare department and registrar must resign within 24 hours.
2. Lazur-based student politics must be stopped inside the campus. He may have a political identity outside the campus. It is a personal matter of everyone. But, inside the campus, everyone is a normal student.
3. The entire cost of treatment of the martyred and injured students will be borne by the university administration.
4. Those who were earlier office bearers of Chhatra League and got jobs on the campus based on this and the teachers of anthropology department who are still associated with the anti-discrimination student movement, who made fun of the martyred and injured comrades, will have to resign from their jobs within the next 2 days.
5. By 20th of next September Jaksu should formulate the policy and organize an election.
6. Occupied halls should be vacated immediately and seats should be allotted on the basis of merit.
7. How to quickly implement the second campus construction work. In that case, the army will have to give responsibility for the implementation of the campus.
8. Teacher politics should be stopped to ensure healthy environment of education. Campus students should be given priority in the recruitment of teachers. Research allocation should be increased.
9. The budget should be allocated for the cafeteria to improve the quality of food and the construction of the new cafeteria should be completed soon.
10. The standard of common room for female students should be improved. They need to ensure their safety and take strong legal action against sexual harassment.
11. Effective arrangements should be made to stop extortion, tenders in the name of politics around the campus.
12. Abolish the pet quota and stop the political recruitment trade for life.
13. Separate admission tests should be taken out of the cluster system and universities should be made into autonomous institutions.
