Dr. Canada welcomed Yunus's interim government

In a statement on Friday (August 9), Canada's Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie said. He welcomed the new government led by Muhammad Yunus.

The statement said Canada supports a peaceful approach to resolving the ongoing crisis in Bangladesh. We are Dr. Welcome a new interim government led by Muhammad Yunus. This is the first step towards restoring peace as well as paving the way for free and fair elections and democratic governance.
Melanie Joly said Canada wants to be involved in a process that is inclusive during this transition. Political participation of all sectors of society in a broad sense. It will include religious minorities, youth, women and other minorities. Canada calls on all parties to work together on the principles of respect for human rights, rule of law, democratic practices and participatory governance.
Canada also urged everyone to remain calm. Canada calls on the interim government to ensure full access to the Internet and other communication systems for the exercise of freedom of expression.
