Police uniform survey: Previous, current or new, which one do you favor?

Just three months ago, the interim government changed the uniform of the police force. After the new uniform was decided, there was a mixed reaction within the force, so the police headquarters started a survey to find out the opinions of the members.
More than 200,000 members of various ranks of the force were asked for their opinions on three issues – what percentage is in favor of the previous uniform, what percentage is in favor of the current uniform, and what percentage wants a new uniform. Since last Sunday, the police commissioner, range DIG, police superintendent of 64 districts, and various unit heads started collecting opinions through welfare meetings.
The letter signed by DIG Kamrul Hasan of the police headquarters asked to send the results of the survey by Monday. It was mentioned that since members have different opinions on the new uniform, the policymakers want to verify everyone's opinions. A concerned official said that the option that the majority of members agree on will be implemented.
Since the new government took office, two organizations—the Bangladesh Police Service Association and the Bangladesh Police Association—have been objecting to the change in uniform. In separate statements, they demanded that the previous khaki uniform be retained.
It is now believed that a final decision may be made based on the results of the survey.
