Tarique Rahman visits the shrine of Hazrat Shah Makhdum (RA)

As part of BNP's election campaign in the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman visited the shrine of Hazrat Shah Makhdum (RA) after reaching Rajshahi. He visited the shrine and offered prayers at around 1:30 pm on Thursday (January 29).
Earlier, the plane carrying him landed at Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi after 12 pm. He went directly to the shrine from the airport. At that time, party leaders and activists welcomed him.
According to party sources, leaders and activists of 13 parliamentary constituencies of Rajshahi, Natore and Chapainawabganj districts will participate in the election rally to be held today. BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to address the rally as the chief guest at around 2 pm.
Top leaders from the central and local levels have already arrived in Rajshahi to attend public meetings. The last time Tarique Rahman came to Rajshahi was in 2004 to attend a conference of union council representatives. After 22 years, extensive election campaigning has been carried out across the district around his visit.
