300-foot road turns into a sea of people to welcome Tarique Rahman

The 300-foot road adjacent to Kuril-Bishwar Road in the capital has become crowded with people on the occasion of the return of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman. Thousands of leaders, activists and supporters from different parts of the country have gathered there to welcome him.
On Thursday (December 25), a visit to the 300-foot area showed that a large number of people were present on both sides and in the middle of the road. As the day progressed, more people joined there, as a result of which the entire area turned into a sea of people.
Currently, all types of traffic, including buses and private cars, are closed in the 300-foot area. However, some motorcycles were seen plying in a limited range.
A police officer on duty told More News, "We have diverted all the surrounding roads. Currently, no type of traffic is being allowed on the 300-foot road."
A festive atmosphere prevails throughout the country surrounding Tarique Rahman's return to his homeland. Along with party leaders and activists, there is great excitement and interest among the general public. Preparations have been made to welcome him in the 300-foot area of the capital.
Leaders and activists have been pouring into the reception venue since Thursday morning. The entire area was filled with banners, festoons, party flags and various slogans. It is learned that leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations from different districts and upazilas of the country started coming there two days ago. Many spent the night in the 300-foot area.
Tarique Rahman is accompanied by his wife Dr. Zobaida Rahman and daughter Barrister Zaima Rahman on this historic return after almost 17 years. In addition, Tarique Rahman's media team head Abu Abdullah Saleh, personal assistant Rahman Sunny and Tabassum Farhana are accompanying him.
