Sadar Upazila Administration distributes cash and other aids to beggars in Narail

Under the Beggar Rehabilitation and Alternative Employment Program, six cows, six goats, 11,200 taka in cash and various aids have been distributed to eight beggars in Narail Sadar Upazila.
On Monday, November 17, at noon, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sanchita Biswas completed the distribution of aids to beggars organized by the Upazila Administration and Upazila Social Service Office at the premises of Narail Sadar Upazila Parishad.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sanchita Biswas said that the main objective of this program is to eliminate begging and make the beneficiaries self-reliant. They will be involved in alternative income streams through regular monitoring. Sadar Upazila Social Service Officer Uttam Sarkar and other officials and employees of the Upazila administration were present at the time.
