Various types of vehicles including their armored vehicles were vandalized.

This information is known from the concerned forces. They say that these incidents took place in these eight days from July 15 to 22. During this time three policemen and one member of Ansar were killed. 1 thousand 381 members of four forces were injured.

According to the forces, around 300 vehicles of the four forces were vandalized and set on fire during the protest and conflict. The armored personnel carrier (APC) of the police was also vandalized. There have been attacks on police stations as well as offices of various police units in different areas including Dhaka.

July 15 to 22—In these eight days 1,381 men of four armies were wounded. The student movement started on July 1 to demand quota reforms. On July 15, clashes and attacks took place in Dhaka University over the protestors' program. After that, protests spread across the country. July 18 to 20—These three days saw the highest casualties. According to fire service data, 89 cases of arson were set by 'excited mobs' in these three days. Most of these are law enforcement and government facilities. In this regard, Police Headquarters spokesperson Assistant Inspector General of Police Inamul Haque Sagar told Prothom Alo on Thursday evening that when the law and order situation deteriorates, the police are the first to be targeted. It happened this time too. In this case, various police offices including the police station were the target of their attack. According to police headquarters sources, 235 police establishments across the country were set on fire and vandalized during the clashes around the quota reform movement. These establishments include police stations, offices of various units, outposts, camps and police boxes. 236 vehicles were vandalized and set on fire. These include pickups, armored personnel carriers (APCs), wreckers, jeeps, motorcycles and other types of vehicles. Three policemen were killed. 1 thousand 131 people were injured. Among them, four are in the hospital's intensive care unit. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said that 80 buildings and offices, including 69 police boxes, were vandalized and set on fire in the violence in the capital across the country. The financial value of DMP's structures, vehicles and machinery destroyed in the conflict is 61 crore rupees. Apart from this, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) received reports of attacks on five police stations during the clashes. Among these are the capital's Uttara Purba Police Station; Gacha Police Station of Gazipur, Tongi West Police Station and Basan Police Station and Highway Police Station of Narsingdi.

RAB and BGB members were also injured

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and RAB said that there was no attack on any establishment. However, 52 BGB members were injured in the clash. Hundreds of RAB were injured. Apart from that, 13 of their vehicles were vandalized and burnt. In this regard, the director of RAB's law and media wing, Lt. Col. Munim Ferdous told Prothom Alo that the law and order forces were attacked in a planned manner as they were thought to be an obstacle to creating violence.

Attack on 78 facilities of Ansar

According to Ansar and Village Defense Force information, an Ansar member attached to Motijheel police station was killed in the violence. 98 people were injured. 78 establishments were attacked, vandalized and set on fire. Among them, 74 guards (camps) of the force in various government installations and important places including KPI (Key Performance Indicator) were attacked and vandalized. Among them, Dhaka has 30. The force said that the attack took place at the Ansar vehicle depot in the Abul Hotel area of ​​Malibagh in the capital. Ansar's traffic barracks in Hatirjheel were vandalized and set on fire. Apart from this, the Sherpur and Rangpur district offices of the force were vandalized. Assistant Director of Ansar.
