All coaching centers ordered to close until August 15

The Ministry of Education has ordered to close all coaching centers in the country until August 15, 2025, in order to conduct the current year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations in a fair, beautiful and cheating-free environment. A notification in this regard was issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday (June 25).
The notification said that the 2025 HSC and equivalent examinations are going to start simultaneously across the country from June 26. It will be held under 11 education boards of the country. The main goal of this decision is to maintain the attention of students during this period and prevent question paper leaks, cheating or any kind of irregularities.
The Ministry of Education said that all types of academic coaching centers, guide-based educational institutions and private teaching activities conducted in the name of exam preparation will be closed until August 15. The notification also mentioned that administrative and legal action will be taken against those who violate the instructions.
The Ministry of Education has said that the government is determined to ensure the quality of education by conducting examinations in a cheating-free environment. This decision is very important so that the examinees can be given the opportunity to participate in the examinations without any pressure.
About 1.4 million students are participating in the HSC and equivalent examinations this year. Various steps have already been taken in coordination with the education board, administration and law enforcement agencies to organize the examinations in a fair and safe manner.
The Ministry of Education has requested teachers, guardians and all concerned to respect the instructions and cooperate. In addition, students have been urged to prepare at home by focusing on textbooks and their own studies.
