A court has sent former MP and Awami League leader Momtaz Begum, who was arrested in a murder case filed at the capital's Mirpur Model Police Station, on a 4-day remand. The police applied for remand, citing the need to interrogate her in the investigation of the case filed over the violent incidents that occurred during the anti-discrimination student movement.
