The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement demanded a ban on the organizational activities of the Awami League in a press release on Wednesday (February 12) night. The organization said that they demand speedy trial of the Awami League's fascist terrorists involved in the massacre in the July coup and cancellation of the Awami League's registration.
In addition, Abul Kashem Khan, a member of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement who was injured in the attack by Awami terrorists in Gazipur, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital while undergoing treatment. The organization expressed deep shock at the incident and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
The organization also said that the interim government must take more effective steps to ensure public safety as the violent activities and assassinations of the Awami League continue after the coup. They demanded that these crimes committed by the Awami League be tried and justice be ensured for the martyrs and injured.
The organization said, "Such activities have created deep concern in the public mind, and the government bears responsibility for these terrorist activities carried out by the Awami League."
