This time, former State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr. Enamur Rahman sent a secret message by letter in front of the police. He gave this letter while being picked up at the Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. The police were present when the letter was handed over and the letter came out of Enamur's left pocket and went into the hands of a person who identified himself as Enamur's brother. However, no information was known about the content of the letter.
On this day, Dr. Enamur and four accused were produced in the court at around 9:30 am. They were taken to the dock at 9:32 am under police guard. Later, Dr. Enamur was taken to Savar Model Police Station for the hearing of 7 cases. The other three accused were sent to jail.
When the lawyers for the accused applied for bail to cancel the remand, state lawyer Iqbal Hossain argued in favor of granting the remand. He said that the most violence occurred during the student movement against discrimination in Savar and Ashulia and this incident took place in Dr. Enamur's constituency.
At that time, Dr. Enamur said that the allegations against him were false. He said that he himself went and treated 290 people who were shot during the movement and provided care to 576 people injured in Rana Plaza. Finally, the court ordered his five-day remand.
