BDR members' sit-in program at Shaheed Minar with six demands

On Tuesday, February 11, dismissed BDR members are holding a sit-in program at the Central Shaheed Minar. They have been at Shaheed Minar since morning with the previously announced six-point demands. Their families are also with them at this time.
The program has been organized by the BDR Kalyan Parishad. Faizul Alam, president of the organization, said that their sit-in program will continue until February 11, 12 and 13 demanding the reinstatement of dismissed BDR members and the release of imprisoned members. He added, "If good news does not come, we will be forced to announce a stricter program."
In addition, their six-point demands were highlighted, among which the notable demands are:
Reinstatement of BDR members dismissed in the Pillkhana massacre, ensuring their compensation and state benefits.
Release of acquitted and completed BDR members.
To form an independent investigation commission and release the convicted innocent members and to uncover the exact cause of the Peelkhana massacre.
To punish those involved in the Peelkhana massacre and to uncover the cause of death of the BDR members killed in prison.
To restore the name BDR, which is a symbol of independence and sovereignty.
To declare a national day in memory of the martyrs of Peelkhana and to ensure the safety of the families of the martyrs.
The participants in this sit-in program have called on the government to take immediate action.
