After the terrorist attack by Awami League leaders and activists on students and the public in Gazipur, the joint forces have launched 'Operation Devil Hunt' across the country. So far, 65 people have been arrested from Gazipur in this operation.

The joint forces conducted a raid at eighty important intersections in Gazipur overnight on Saturday. Vehicles were searched and security measures were increased. Gazipur Police Superintendent Chowdhury Jaber Sadek said that more than fifty people involved in the attack on students have been arrested.

This operation is being conducted not only in Gazipur but also in various parts of the country, including Khagrachhari. 4 leaders and activists of the banned Chhatra League have been arrested in Khagrachhari. A total of 108 people, including 14 people, have been arrested in eight districts of Rangpur division in other cases. The joint forces have also arrested 4 people in Gopalganj.

In this regard, Home Secretary Nasimul Ghani said that instructions have been given to all the relevant agencies to keep the country stable and stricter steps will be taken in the future. The government is also keeping an eye on the criminals released on bail.

This morning, Home Affairs Advisor Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that those who want to destabilize the country will be arrested under 'Operation Devil Hunt'. This operation will continue until the devil is finished.

In addition, the Home Affairs Advisor said that 5 police officers were arrested on Saturday night. Meanwhile, it was also informed that those involved in the vandalism of the farmer's sculpture in Sunamganj will be identified and brought to justice.

It is worth noting that the Home Ministry was shaken after the terrorist attack on students at the house of AKM Mozammel Haque, a minister of the fallen fascist government, in Gazipur last Friday night. 'Operation Devil Hunt' was announced after that. Joint forces began a 24-hour operation on Saturday night and patrols were strengthened at important intersections.
