Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul, legal advisor to the interim government, said in a post on the social media Facebook on Sunday that Awami League has millions of crores of loot in its hands. He also mentioned that the lack of unity can encourage the genocidal party Awami League.
In the post, he also said that in recent times, the frenzy and sabotage attempts of Awami League leaders and activists have increased over the rumors of the escape of Dr. Muhammad Yunus, advisors and student leaders. He said that these rumors have spread panic and this has further increased the need for unity.
He believes:
BNP is not interested in any conspiracy or 1/11-type plan.
Student leaders are not on the path of forming a political party while they are in government.
The July Declaration will be a political document reflecting the opinions of the forces of the mass uprising.
BNP and student leaders are interested in a larger compromise.
Dr. Asif Nazrul said, even if we have differences of opinion, it should not be an encouragement to the enemy. He urged everyone to remain united to stop the genocidal Awami League.
He also said that the Awami League has taken a stand against the people using their looted money, support groups and powerful campaign network. Therefore, everyone should come forward on the path of unity by remembering the sacrifices of the martyred students and the people.
