Chief Advisor to return home today after four-day visit to Switzerland!

Chief Advisor to the Interim Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus is returning home today after a busy four-day visit to Switzerland. According to the Chief Advisor's press wing, he attended at least 47 events, including the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum held in Davos.

At the WEF summit, Dr. Yunus met various heads of government, heads of state and dignitaries. His Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad said that he met four heads of government, 10 top UN executives, 10 CEOs, 9 organized events and 8 media activities.

On the first day, Dr. Yunus met various dignitaries including German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, East Timorese President Jose Ramos-Horta, and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

On the second day, he participated in 14 programs. During this time, he met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, former US envoy on climate change John Kerry, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, among others. On the third day, he spoke at an event organized by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and participated in a plenary session on the state of climate and nature.

On the last day, he participated in more than seven programs. During this time, he met with American investor Ray Dalio and Amer Alireza, chairman of the Zenel Group.
