“Why did the owner of so much power flee the country?”: Jamaat!

Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman in Rajshahi said to the Awami League leaders, “Why did the owner of so much power flee the country?” He made this comment while speaking as the chief guest at the district Jamaat-e-Islami workers’ conference at Madrasa Ground in Rajshahi on Saturday afternoon.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman also said that the owner of power is only Allah, and He gives power to someone when He wants and takes it away when He wants. In his speech, he called for establishing justice under the command of Allah. The Jamaat Amir mentioned that those who respect people, Allah will increase their respect, and those who do injustice, will take away their respect and power.

He also said that Jamaat is working to form a nation enlightened by the power of Allah, a nation that will bow its head only to Allah. Recalling the repression of the previous government, he said, “Thousands of our leaders and activists have been persecuted, murdered, and have lost their jobs.”

The Jamaat Ameer said, “Only Allah is the owner of power, and the defeat of the previous government after its flight has proven that only Allah, the Almighty, is the owner of all power.”

At that time, leaders of Rajshahi Metropolitan and District Jamaat-Shibir were present, and the workers’ conference was presided over by Maulana Keramat Ali, the Ameer of the Metropolitan Jamaat.
