A legal cell with 11 members headed by Tariqul Islam has been formed to further accelerate the organizational activities of the anti-discrimination student movement.
This information was given by the convener of the organization, Hasnat Abdullah, and member secretary Arif Sohel in a press release on Thursday.
The other members of the legal cell are Zahirul Islam, Ariful Islam Bijoy, Shuvo Ahmed, Umma Uswatul Rafia, Ashikur Rahman Jim, Saifur Rahman Khan, Motasim Billah Mahfuz, Kashem Al Nahyan, Jane Alam Apu and Shamsuddoha Shakil.
Tariqul Islam, who is responsible for the head of the legal cell, has a very successful academic career. He got admitted to the Government Science College in Dhaka after getting a golden GPA-5 in SSC from Pir Kashimpur RN High School in Comilla. He then completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the Department of Law at Dhaka University.
Currently, Tariqul Islam is serving as the Central Executive Member and Head of the Legal Cell of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. He has also passed the Bangladesh Bar Council and is registered as an advocate.
