This time, JBU students are warned to surround the secretariat!

Jagannath University (JBU) students on hunger strike have announced a program to surround the secretariat if discussions are not held with the university administration, ministry and army officials by 1:30 pm today.
AKM Rakib, president of the JBU branch of Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, made this announcement at a press conference at the university's Shaheed Minar premises today, Monday. He said that the students are giving an ultimatum, which states that if the administration does not discuss with the ministry, UGC and army officials by 1:30 pm, they will surround the secretariat. He called on all students to participate in the movement.
It is noteworthy that the students have started the movement with three demands since yesterday, Sunday. Their main demands are - handover of the second campus to the army, provision of temporary accommodation for students and provision of housing allowance for at least 70% of students until temporary accommodation is available.
