Bangladesh-India Foreign Secretaries' Meeting

The meeting began after 11 am today, Monday. Earlier, the Indian Foreign Secretary's convoy entered the Padma at around 10 am. This is the first meeting of high-level officials between Bangladesh and India in Dhaka after the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5.
Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri has arrived at the state guesthouse Padma to lead Delhi's side in the meeting. This is his first visit to Bangladesh as India's Foreign Secretary. He participated in the meeting with Foreign Secretary Md. Jasim Uddin. Vikram Mishri arrived in Dhaka on Monday morning on a special flight of the Indian Air Force.
