Order to take strict legal action against terrorist-moneylenders

Field level police officers have been instructed to take strict legal action against terrorists, extortionists, extortionists.
Additional IGP (Crime and Operations) gave this instruction while presiding over the monthly crime review meeting of the last three months (July-September) held at the police headquarters on Monday (November 11) morning. Akram Hossain.
Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Range DIG and District Superintendent of Police participated in the meeting virtually. DIG (operations and additional responsibility crime management) at the police headquarters. Rezaul Karim and concerned officials were also present.
The Additional IGP ordered to strengthen the ongoing operation of joint forces to recover illegal weapons. He said that illegal arms holders cannot be given any exemption.
He emphasized on taking effective measures to prevent robberies on the highways and said that the head of the unit for arresting fugitives should increase direct surveillance.
Akram Hossain said that no laxity can be shown in providing the desired services to the service seekers who come to the police station. Policemen have to be more diligent to ensure they get their services.
Also, in the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the review of the overall crime situation of three months, the issued arrest warrant, the result of the case investigation and trial, the rate of punishment and other important issues.
