Order to stop boarding and alighting of passengers without bus stop

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md. Mainul Hasan. Along with this, he ordered to stop driving unfit cars and keeping them randomly on the road.
On Saturday (September 21) in a discussion meeting at the DMP headquarters, he called on the bus owners and said that the drivers and bus workers should be more aware and careful about these issues. They should be subject to greater monitoring and accountability. If everyone works sincerely, we will be able to keep the traffic congestion in the metropolis at a tolerable level. Police will be by your side in any need.

This officer said, I took charge in a special situation after the August 5 student uprising. There was a kind of disorganization in roads and public transport then. I returned to normal from that situation in a very short time. We are trying to maintain this status.
DMP Additional Commissioner of Police (Admin) Farooq Ahmed, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Khondkar Najmul Hasan, Joint Commissioner of Police, Police Officers of various ranks of Traffic Department, Citybus owners and representatives were present in the meeting.
