In protest against unreasonable posting and teacher abuse Full day strike and human chain in Kurigram

A protest rally and human chain was held in front of the Kurigram Press Club on Wednesday (September 18) at 12 noon under the banner of Kurigram District Anti-Discrimination Teachers Parishad in protest against the surprise attack on government secondary school teachers by upazila secondary education officers and employees at Shiksha Bhaban. At the end of the rally, senior teacher Moazzem Hosne addressed the human chain Enamul Haque, Afroza Begum, Narayan Chandra, Assistant Teacher Farida Parveen etc.
The speakers said that officials from the scheme are trying to illegally occupy the statutory high posts of government secondary teachers. Where university teachers run the university administration, government college teachers run the college administration, government secondary teachers run the secondary administration, it is statutory. But under the auspices of Awami Government's Education Secretary NI Khan, the stipend officers got the opportunity to get permanent employment from the CESIP project, considering the humanitarian aspect. At present, again there is no recruitment rule, they forcefully make chaos in Maushi to get District Education Officers (DSOs). We strongly protest against it. We have organized a full-day strike and human chain in Kurigram today to demand stop of unreasonable posting and exemplary punishment of criminals. If our demands are ignored, we will be forced to give strict program later. More than half a hundred teachers participated in the human chain.
