The anti-discrimination student movement has demanded the banning of Awami League and all its organs, accusing them of involvement in terrorist activities. This claim was made in a message sent by coordinator Abu Bakr Majumdar on Saturday.
It is said that the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement informs with deep concern that the Sports Secretary of Nationalist Volunteers Party Shaukat Ali (Didar) was brutally killed and around 50 people were injured in a brutal attack by Awami terrorists. We strongly condemn and protest this barbaric attack.
Such acts of terror are incompatible with democracy, stability and the spirit of the July uprising.
The anti-discrimination student movement is demanding that the terrorists involved in the attack be immediately arrested and brought to justice. Besides, Awami League and all its organizations involved in terrorist activities should be banned, so that such heinous incidents do not happen again in the future.
