Anti-discrimination student movement 36 days after his death, the father became Rubel

The wife of Abdur Razzak Rubel, the leader of the Upazila Svechchasevak Dal, who was shot dead in Comilla's Devidwar on August 4 during the anti-discrimination student movement, has given birth to a baby boy. Happy Akhter gave birth to a child through caesarean operation at a private hospital in Upazila Sadar on Monday night.

Doctors said that the newborn and his mother are healthy.

The deceased Abdur Razzak Rubel was poor. He ran the family by driving a bus. After her untimely death and the birth of the child, the whole family is now distraught.

According to family sources, Abdur Razzak Rubel was the only son of his parents. After his father's death, Rubel took over the family. Married to Happy Akhtar. They have another 6-year-old daughter.

Rubel's family has been going through a miserable life for the past one month. Finally, the birth of a son gave hope to the family.

Rubel's old mother Hosneyara Begum is crying with her grandson in her arms. Seeing the media workers, he said, "Father, I would have been very happy if my son was alive today." The grandson with forehead burns could not see his father's face after birth. What will I answer when I grow up and look for my father?'

Rubel's wife Happy Akhtar said, "My husband wanted to name him Ryan if he had a son." Named Ryan. I had a happy family, it all went away in one shot. His father could not face the child. What was my husband's crime, why did the killers shoot him?'

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Debidwar upazila branch has taken all the responsibility of Rubel's wife's caesarean operation and prescription.

Secretary of Comilla North District Jamaat Saiful Islam said, "Sacrifice of Shaheed Rubel for the country did not fail." In exchange for his sacrifice, a dictatorial Hasina fell. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has tried to stand by the family of Shaheed Rubel. As part of this, he has borne all the expenses of his wife's Caesarean operation and medicines.

Incidentally, during the movement, armed terrorists of Awami League attacked the student crowd in Devidwar upazila Sadar on August 4. At that time, in front of Debidwar Azgar Ali Girls' High School, the terrorists hacked and shot dead Abdur Razzaq Rubel, the joint convener of the Municipal Volunteers' Party. Two separate cases have been filed by the family and party in this incident. Deceased Rubel is the son of deceased Rafiqul Islam of Barera village of Debidwar municipality.
