Bangladesh National Awami Party-Bangladesh NAP Secretary General M. commented that the fascist power has ended through the anti-discrimination student movement, thus creating a new opportunity for state reform. Golam Mostafa Bhuiya said, as the days go by, the level of people's expectations is also increasing. Failure to meet those expectations may lead to the birth of a new dictatorship.
He said this at the launch of the book "Witnesses of History: Context - India and Bangladesh" written by eminent lawyer Advocate Muhammad PK Abdur Rab at National Press Club Maulana Akram Kha Auditorium on Monday (September 2).
He said that this government has taken over the responsibility of the country through the students' coup, the students want the necessary reforms of the country. Which is the desire of the people of the country. The main goal of this year will be to clear the long-standing garbage and take the country on a smooth path.
Golam Mostafa Bhuiya also said that the desire to establish democracy in the country is long-standing. Even now, the government and the people also demand proper reform of the country's constitution to establish real democracy. Because on the basis of the democratic constitution, the path of democracy in the country is smooth and democracy is effective. If the political institutions act as subordinates of a government, then in no way is the democracy properly managed in that country, rather democracy goes into the pockets of the political leaders.
Senior politician. Dr. Atiqul Islam, the former director of the National Magic House, participated in the discussion. Mohammad Alamgir, AB Party Joint Member Secretary Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad, President of Jatiya Kavita Manch Kavi Mahmudul Hasan Nizami, Muslim Students League President Mohammad Noor Alam, book publisher Gabriel's owner Mahadi Anam etc.
