Fawzul Karim Khan, Adviser on Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources commented that the demand collection season has started in the country like the season of paddy harvesting.
He made this comment while visiting Hasnat Abdullah, central coordinator of the injured anti-discrimination student movement, at the Dhaka Medical College (DMH) hospital on Monday (August 26). Hasnat Abdullah was injured in an attack by Ansar members protesting in front of the secretariat.
Hospital energy advisors say every claim has a financial component. It will increase government expenditure. But government revenue will not increase suddenly. As a result, how will the government fulfill these demands in a short time? To meet these demands, the government has to print money. This will increase inflation. If there is inflation, the public will suffer. If inflation increases, the price of daily commodities will increase in the market.
This adviser of the interim government said to the agitators that they failed to meet any adviser - it did not happen. We are willing to talk in a systematic way. The students brought this government with their blood on the streets. So the mandate of this government is very strong. No one should think that this government has floated.
During the visit to the hospital, the interim government's adviser on law, justice and parliamentary affairs. Asif Nazrul was present.
