Justice Manik apologized to the presenter

Former Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik has apologized for addressing the presenter Deepti Chowdhury as Razakar's child and indecent behavior in the talk show on the issue of quota reform movement. At the same time, he apologized to the people.
Supreme Court senior lawyer Advocate Fawzia Karim Feroze, who sent a legal notice to him (Justice Manik) on Monday (August 12), apologized in writing.
In response to the legal notice, former judge Manik wrote that he is a patient of hypertension and diabetes. On the day of the talk show, he had to walk a long way to participate in the program. As a result, his blood sugar dropped and his blood pressure increased, and at the same time he was feeling extremely tired. Due to which he lost control over himself. He deeply apologized to the presenter for his behavior.
In this regard, Barrister Kazi Maruful Islam told Dhaka Post that former Justice AHM Samsuddin Chowdhury Manik has replied to the legal notice sent by him to Senior Advocate Fauzia Karim Feroze. There he apologized in writing to presenter Deepti Chowdhury and the public.
He sent this message to Advocate Fawzia Karim on WhatsApp at 5:38 pm informing about Justice Manik's apology and also attached a two-page handwritten letter.
Earlier, a legal notice was sent to former Justice Manik to publicly apologize to the nation for misbehaving with presenter Deepti Chowdhury on Sunday. The notice asked him to apologize publicly as well as apologize in writing to the presenter.
Advocate Fawzia Karim Feroze, Senior Advocate, sent the notice on behalf of Foundation for Law and Development (FLD). The notice states that legal action will be taken against former Justice Manik if he does not apologize publicly and in writing.
Former Justice Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik participated as a discussant in a talk show organized on a television channel recently on the quota movement issue. But at one stage of the discussion, he lost his temper and got angry with the moderator Deepti Chowdhury. During the entire event, he expressed his anger at the presenter several times. Not only that, he called the presenter a 'Razakar's kid' before leaving the studio after the show. The video of the incident went viral on social media.
In the video, before leaving the venue after the discussion, Justice Manik said, 'He is Razakar's kid.' In immediate protest, moderator Deepti said, 'You have no right to call me Razakar's kid.' I am a child of a freedom fighter family.' Then Justice Manik said, 'Of course. A hundred times right. You are Razakar's child.'
Host Deepti said, 'I am a child of a freedom fighter family. How dare you call me Razakar's child?' Then Justice Manik said, 'I said seeing your behavior. You are Razakar's child.'
Later the conductor kept shouting, 'I am a child of a freedom fighter family. I am a child of a freedom fighter family. I am a child of a freedom fighter family.
Then Justice Manik also said, 'Why are you a child of a freedom fighter family? You are the son of Razakar.' Then the other speaker of the program Golam Mawla Roni was seen requesting Justice Manik to be removed from the venue.
Since the airing of the talk show, the use of Justice Manik has been criticized on social media. In the meantime, when the video of Bagbitanda after the show spread again on social media, the criticism reached its peak. Netizens praised Justice Manik's criticism as well as moderator Deepti Chowdhury's patience.
